Reservations are open for the full 2024-2025 school year. Call us early for the best chance of booking the programs and dates you prefer. We look forward to welcoming your classes in Lowell for in-person programs.

We are offering some programs only on certain days and times of the year. We will also continue to offer our popular virtual field trip programs.

Thank you for your interest in coming for a field trip to the Tsongas Industrial History Center. We invite you to call us at 978-970-5080 to speak with our staff about a reservation. You can also begin the process by filling out our Field Trip Inquiry form. This form will start the process and our Reservations Staff will contact you to finalize your reservation. Contact us early for the best availability of dates for this school year.

Tsongas Industrial History Center (TIHC) News

  • The Tsongas Industrial History Center is hiring a Project Manager. The Project Manager-TIHC position is benefitted, part-time (30 hours per week). The initial appointment will be for one year, renewable contingent on availability of funding and successful performance. The Project Manager collaborates with TIHC staff to create and improve school programs, plan teacher professional development, and network with teachers and UMass Lowell faculty and students.
