Grade Substitution/Deletion

Grade Substitution/Deletion

Students who have entered the University as a freshman or who transfer to the University with less than 60 semester credits are permitted a maximum of 15 semester credits of course repetition/deletions for the purpose of removing grades of C- or less for previously completed courses in the computation of their cumulative GPA.

Transfer students who have entered the University with 60 or more credits are permitted seven semester credits of course repetition/deletions for this purpose.

Students must notify the Registrar's Office and complete the required forms and obtain necessary signatures for this process.

Courses will still appear on a student's permanent record, but a notation is added removing the grades from their cumulative GPA.
