UMass Lowell students and faculty took learning beyond the boundaries of the classroom through international study and travel this summer. Students across disciplines and colleges participated in faculty-led courses overseas, which allow them to earn credits while gaining valuable global experience.

The map below shows where our students traveled during the summer of 2014. Check out the faculty-led class blogs by following the red lines to blue pins to get a flavor of touring Charles Dickens house in London, navigating culture shock in Greece and more. Catch up with on-the-go students who participated in the #UMLTravels contest by clicking on the white pins.

Wherever they went, students were proud representatives of the River Hawk tradition. Visit the Office of International Experiences & Study Abroad for upcoming opportunities.
