The sixth annual CITA Conference, “Approaches to Sustainable Regional Development: Supporting Public Health and a Healthy Society” will be held November 7-9 in the Wannalancit Mills. Registration is free and the deadline is Oct. 24.
The conference will bring together professionals in public health, occupational and environmental health, and community and economic development. The keynote speaker will be Dr. David Ozonoff, chair of the Dept. of Environmental Health at Boston University. The Committee on Industrial Theory and Assessment hopes participants will share creative ways to enhance the health of society at a time when the economy, health care, and public health face unprecedented crisis.
