NVI is a seed-stage venture capital fund created in 2013 to invest in startups founded by and/or commercializing technologies and intellectual property developed by UMass Lowell students, faculty and researchers.
NVI works closely with startups in the pre-launch and seed stage with emphasis on the necessity and development of strong teams with experience and potential market justification. This empowers entrepreneurs and pairs them with strong intellectual property, speeding early commercialization efforts and better preparing our University-related startups for further financing.
