Atomic Learning is an on-line training tool available to all members of the UMass Lowell community. It provides a wide array of programs and tutorials for over 200 technology applications such as Excel, Word and many other applications from APA to MLA to blogging. You may want to consider using ear buds or headphones while listening to tutorials if you are working in the library or an office environment.
Please visit the IT Licensed Software page and click on the link to Atomic Learning in the table. Log in using your email credentials (faculty and staff: email@example.com, students: firstname.lastname@example.org). Getting Started Tips, including the Getting Started Guide (pdf) and Learn to Use This Site (videos) are located on the left. If you are ready to explore: In the "applications" box, pull down the arrow and select from over 50,000 training tutorials.
When you are ready to log out of Atomic Learning, pull down from "My Profile" located at the top right of the Atomic Learning home page to "Log out". Be sure and close your browser when complete.
If you experience difficulty applying new functionality learned in Atomic Learning call the IT service desk at 978-934-4357. If your question requires a deeper level of instruction, instructor lead training may be a better option. Various funding options for instructor lead training opportunities are the responsibility of the caller.
