Originally from Taiwan, Neville Jiang received his Ph.D. in 2000 and has been with UMass Lowell since 2006.  His main research area is economic growth and development.  Industrial Organization is another field he would like to explore.  He has published several papers in professional journals including: Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Economic Inquiry, and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.

Neville Jiang loves sports, although not as much as when he was younger.  He also thinks he would enjoy woodworking if he had the appropriate tools in his garage.
