UMass Lowell recently celebrated the 118th Boston Marathon by running a campaign to reach at least 118 donors to the UMass Lowell Boston Marathon Scholarship Fund and the Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund. Not only was the campaign successful, the University surpassed its goal by 34 donors!

The scholarship funds were established after the bombings of the 117th Boston Marathon. The UMass Lowell Boston Marathon Scholarship Fund provides support for any member of the University community affected by the bombings who wishes to pursue an education at UMass Lowell. The Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund, established by the UMass Trustee Richard Campbell (no relation) in memory of a UMass Boston student who lost her life in the bombings, will be available to students from all five University of Massachusetts campuses.

Thank you to all those who made this campaign a success.
