Parking Summer 2012
Various construction projects and redesigns to expand the capacity of parking will occur during the summer months. These improvements will require partial or entire closing of lots, or the redirection of traffic flow.
Below is an outline of the lots that will be closed and a list of alternative lots or entry/exit points.
Riverside Lot (Summer Construction)
Construction of the North Garage Access Road started May 21 and will be completed prior to the start of the fall semester. The roadway construction will restrict normal access into the surface lot.
To accommodate this construction all Faculty/Staff, students and visitors will enter the Riverside lot through the Olney entrance gate. This gate will be open throughout the summer. To exit the parking lot, please use the Riverside Street exit gate.

North Garage and Riverside Lots Access Roadway
With the addition of the North Garage an access roadway to the Riverside Lots and North Garage has been created to optimize traffic flow.
Entry to all lots will be from Sparks Street.

Lower Mahoney and Broadway/Riverview Lot (South Garage):
On Monday June 4, 2012 began on the new South Campus Parking Garage. As our campus continues to grow the garage will be an important part of the future parking inventory on south campus.
From June 4 until the summer of 2013 the Lower Mahoney Parking Lot as well as the east end of the Riverview Lot will be closed for construction. Faculty and staff are asked to use the Wilder/Lovejoy or Coburn Parking Lots and students are asked to use the open section of Riverview Lot as well as the Coburn Parking lot.
Additionally, work on the bridge that will connect the Broadway/Riverview parking lot to the new Riverview Suites will begin in June. As a result, several parking spaces will be unavailable.
