Biosketch
Laurie Soroken is an adult nurse practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her experience includes 14 years of primary care practice along with long term and rehabilitative care. She more recently maintains her practice by working in the ambulatory care setting. She has also precepted many nurse practitioner students.
Currently Professor Soroken is full time clinical faculty for the clinical practicum Clients with Acute and Life Threatening Illness Across the Life Span. She is also a facilitator for the Junior Nursing Assessment lab. She is actively involved the Nursing Simulation Collaborative Program.
Her publications include a chapter contribution to Primary Care: A Collaborative Practice. Buttaro, Trybulski, Bailey Sandberg–Cook 1999
