The UPrint program is a green initiative to reduce paper waste by eliminating unwanted and excess printing. To date, UMass Lowell has deployed 45 printer-enabled devices across campus and is looking to increase these numbers as the labs continue to grow.
To order toner or paper for your UPrint support devices please email Office_Services@uml.edu call or ext. 4-COPY (x42679).
Office Services will have a list of your printers and their associated toner types and will order on your behalf. Your supplies will then be delivered directly to the appropriate work area, library or lab by the suppliers. Your original receipt paperwork must be sent (via interoffice mail) to the Office Services Department at Kitson 215. The cost allocation of each transaction will be charged based on the order. If materials received are incorrect in quantity or material, please contact Office Services immediately.
As a reminder, departments are responsible for:
- Storage, installation and maintenance of paper and toner at the work area or lab
- Toner and paper for non-supported UPrint devices
- New printer purchases
- Maintenance to printers, including drum kit and fuser replacements
