LOWELL -The 19th annual family Discovery Series kicks off on Sunday Oct. 2 with Skate & Break, an event combining roller skating, dance, acrobatics, figure skating, theatre and break dancing with two shows at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Dancing stars of Break! The Urban Funk Spectacular, who starred in the 2005 Super Bowl pre-game show, will also add to the festivities with a display of street dancing. The opening show is for families and children of all ages and will run approximately one hour.
