The Tsongas Industrial History Center, a partnership of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell's Graduate School of Education and Lowell National Historical Park, received a $224,000 grant for the second year from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The grant will provide professional development for educators next summer through the endowment's ``Landmarks of American History and Culture" program. With the grant, the center will host three-week summer workshops titled ``Inventing America: Lowell and the Industrial Revolution" for US educators, and will be accepting applications.
