The IT Service Desk now has four locations across campus and has extended their hours of operation
IT Service Desk staff are on hand to help students, faculty and staff solve classic, “What’s the problem with this?” issues, such as password issues, connecting to the Internet, and configuring smartphones and tablets. Want to learn how to retrieve your grades or register for a class using SiS? Come on over! Receiving a funky error message on your laptop or mobile? Walk it right down! Having an issue with some classroom technology? Give us a call! Service Desk staffers can also point you to handy IT online tutorials you can reference 24/7 from any device.
“It’s all about service and making sure we’re there when our customers need us,” explains Bob Coppenrath, IT Service Desk Manager. “We understand the business of teaching and learning is not a 9 to 5 job for most of our faculty, staff and students here at UMass Lowell and are adjusting our IT service model to try to fit the growing demands of the University.”
IT Service Desk locations and hours of operation:
- University Crossing, Suite M50 - 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday
- Lydon Library, 1st floor - 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday - Friday
- O'Leary Library, 1st floor - 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday - Thursday and 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday (during the academic year)
- Fox Hall, Student Mail Room, 1st floor - 4 - 8 p.m., Monday - Thursday (during the academic year)
