Biosketch
Professor Michelle Bazin is a Lecturer in the Legal Studies Program. Her principal teaching areas are in the fields of business law, transactional law, legal research and writing, and paralegal studies. Additionally, she is currently co-authoring a text on Intellectual Property, Carolina Press, with other colleagues in the Legal Studies Program.
Professor Bazin has over 12 years of experience practicing law in Colorado, New York and Massachusetts in the areas of business law, estate planning, probate and trusts, and real estate, including commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing, foreclosures, and land use matters. She enjoys bringing her law practice experience to the classroom to help illustrate legal concepts and theories to students.
