Admission Requirements

Admissions are rolling, though we recommend that students apply by June 30 for Fall admission and December 31 for Spring admission.  Fall matriculation is encouraged because of the timing and sequence of required courses.  We require an official undergraduate transcript, GRE or MAT scores, three letters of recommendation, at least one of which should be from a faculty member or instructor who is familiar with your academic work and accomplishments, and a statement of purpose outlining your reasons for applying to our programs and your academic and career goals. UMass system graduates with at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA are not required to submit GRE/MAT scores.
