My research concerns the intersection of critical rhetoric, cultural studies, and affect theory. Much of my work criticizes rhetorical practices and cultural discourses which promote fascism and violence, and theorizes socially healing alternatives.

Biosketch

I am the co-author of the college textbook "Cultural Studies: A Practical Introduction," and I completed my doctoral dissertation, "Critical Rhetoric in the Age of Neuroscience," in 2012. My research concerns the intersection of critical rhetoric, cultural studies, and affect theory.
