Events
The Art History Club activities include trips, symposia and special lectures concerning art history. Dante, Pre-Raphaelite, History of Photography, Mexican and Latin American Art & Culture, are a sample of the symposia we have sponsored.
Field Trips
We also sponsor trips every semester to the Boston museums, Worcester and Hartford museums, and New York City museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Modern Art. Our club holds meetings to discuss tropics and various activities including study groups. The dates and times of these meetings are posted in the bulletin board in Coburn 300 and on this Website.

For more information, contacting Dr. Liana Cheney or any Art History Club member. The only prerequisites are that you hold an interest in learning about art and its mysteries, having fun and learning at the same time. Each year Dr. Cheney offers a trip to a foreign country in order to study that region's art history. Recent trips have included London, England (during the spring break), Florence, Rome and Venice, Italy (summer trips).
