Criminology and Justice Studies

To my fellow Alumni,

As the first official President of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Criminal Justice Alumni Board it is my pleasure to reach out to you on behalf of our esteemed alumni committee and welcome you to this website. As graduates or students of the UML criminal justice programs you are among an elite class of criminal justice professionals that have brought dynamic change in the last twenty-five years to the field of Criminal Justice.

Whether it is the field of criminal justice system itself, private corporations or academia you are a leading force for change and best practice in our field. It is our intention to learn more about you and the work that you are doing in our communities at so many different levels.

We would like to invite you to join us on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in the fourth floor lobby of the Health and Social Sciences Building (HSSB) on South Campus. We will be formally honoring two of our graduates that have made significant contributions in our field. We not only want to recognize our students and professionals for their efforts but learn from your experiences and how we as a board and alumni group can assist you and our current students in accessing a powerful network that will contribute to their continued success.

On behalf of the Alumni Board and Faculty of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Criminal Justice Program we look forward to a vibrant relationship with all our alumni and wish you all a Happy Holiday Season.

Very truly yours,

Edward F. Cronin;
