(1) Renewable Energy Lab (REL): Hybrid Wind/Photovoltaic (PV) for stand alone and utility interactive systems (2) Battery Evaluation Lab (BEL): Mathematical modeling, performance evaluation (capacity, efficiency, state of charge, impedance, charge/discharge rates) (3) Power Electronics Lab (PEL): Static Var Compensator SVC, operation, design using new technologies (MCTs), (4) Electric Vehicle Evaluation Lab (EVL): Electric Vehicle: electric vehicle battery charger performance evaluation. Electric vehicle battery evaluation, capacity and efficiency. Electric vehicle range as a function of the battery capacity and battery type.
