Fall 2014 GFIT Kickoff
When: September 3 & 4, 5:30 -7 p.m.
Where: CRC Gymnasium
This will be a high energy group fitness class to kickoff our GFIT Fall schedule. Each 15 minutes a new format will be taught and new instructors will cycle through. Participants will get the chance to try out the variety of classes we have to offer taught by the instructors. No group fitness experience is necessary all fitness levels are welcome.
2014 UMass Lowell NFL Combine
When: September 30, 4-7 p.m.
Where: CRC Front Turf
Want to see where you stack up against the NFL Pros? Compete in the UMass Lowell Campus Recreation's version of the NFL combine. The drills performed will be: bench press, 40 yard dash, broad jump, 5-10-5 shuttle run, 3 cone agility drill, and vertical jump. There will be male and females winners in all categories and one male and female overall for the grand prize. Prizes will be an intramural sport champion t-shirt for the individual categories and the overall winner will receive Patriot's tickets for the Oct. 5 game!
