Sunday: Noon - 10 p.m.
Please Note: If the university is closed due to snow Mon.- Fri., the CRC and Riverview Fitness Center will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. If the university closes due to snow on the weekend the CRC and Riverview Fitness Center will open as scheduled. For extreme cases we may be required to close and we will announce any updates on our Facebook page.

Costello Pool Spring Semester Hours
(Students/Faculty/Staff/CRC Members only)
Spring hours will run January 20 through May 1
Monday - Friday: 7:30 - 9 a.m. and 4:30 - 6 p.m.
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: Noon to 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday/Thursday: Noon - 1:30 p.m.
NOTE: Costello Pool will be closed for emergency repairs through March 27.

Opened in 2002, the 65,000-square-foot Campus Recreation Center at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is a state-of-the-art recreational facility designed to meet the needs of the UMass Lowell campus community.
Campus Recreation Center Fitness Center
The 6,500-square-foot fitness center is filled with state-of-the-art fitness equipment that will satisfy both the inexperienced and experienced user. LifeFitness, Precor, Cybex, and Concept II cardiovascular equipment is complemented by Bodymaster, LifeFitness, and Iron Grip strength equipment. Take a virtual tour of the Campus Rec Center!
Opened in the fall of 2013, this is a 9,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center is open to all full-time students, faculty and staff. The Riverview Fitness Center is open for the fall and spring semesters. View current hours here.
The Riverview Fitness Center is located on the first floor of Riverview Suites Residence Hall, 141 Marginal St. on South Campus. This facility contains state-of-the-art Precor and Cybex fitness equipment including over 25 pieces of cardio, full selectorized circuit, stretching and free weight area. Cardio machines have integrated screens where you can watch TV or surf the web!
Facility amenities include locker rooms with bathrooms, showers, and electronic programmable lockers-no need to bring a lock! Free towel checkout is also available. Patrons can register for all Campus Recreation programs at the Riverview Fitness Center Desk or even sign up for a personal trainer! Faculty/Staff can utilize the Riveview Suites Garage to park in one of the 20 spots that are available.
Three multipurpose courts are utilized for basketball, volleyball and badminton. The courts are also used for intramural sports competitions and club sport practices and games.
Two multipurpose studios are located on the second floor of the facility. Both studios have state-of-the-art Bose sound systems with wireless microphones for instructors. Muscular conditioning, mind-body, and aerobic-based group fitness classes such as Zumba, kickboxing, yoga, abs, and Pilates utilize these spaces. The studios are also used for instructional programs and club sports team practices including martial arts, fencing, dance, and a host of other pursuits.
Exercisers alternate directions every day.
Two racquetball courts and one squash court are available for those interested in these racquet activities. Each court has glass back walls so action can be viewed from both the first and second floor of the building. All racquetball participants must wear eye protection.
Locker-room facilities are available to all patrons of the Campus Recreation Center. Lockers can be used on a daily basis. The Campus Recreation Center has a free equipment check-out service. Patrons can pick up equipment at the Welcome Desk and leave their ID as collateral. Equipment that is available to be checked out includes basketballs as well as racquetball, squash, ping pong, pool, weight belts, jump ropes, and other fitness equipment. Men's and women's locker rooms include showers and saunas.
