  • UMass Lowell alumnus Sam Divine Jr. ’98, author of “Battlegrounds to Boardrooms,” learned about the value and fragility of life growing up in war-torn Liberia. Hear his story during this dinner and book discussion.
  • Divine is founder and CEO of Cross Atlantic Business Advisors. With the help of his parents, Divine left Liberia to attend UMass Lowell. He studied accounting and finance and became a CPA, a job that eventually brought him to Atlanta. He later earned an international business MBA from Georgia State University. His firm, Cross Atlantic Business Advisors, focuses on clients interested in expansions into new markets, including Africa.

  • The Sigma Phi Omicron Fraternity is hosting a charity race to benefit veterans causes in honor of one of our fallen heroes, CPT Chris Sullivan USA.

2ND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

  • Merrimack Valley Golf Club, 210 Howe St., Methuen

    • 8 a.m., Shotgun start
    • 3:30 p.m., Reception 
  • Scramble format tournament
  • The tournament includes many prizes, giveaways, contest opportunities and a special bonus gift to all players. Golfers should register as a foursome team and make payment all at once to ensure they golf on their chosen team. Registration includes 18 holes of golf with cart, golf shirt, admission to the reception and a fully catered meal following the tournament.
